3 Cheers for JoshEarl
I just want to pubicly thank JoshEarl for helping me figure out a bevel issue with one of my razors. I had ground out a frown from a Dubl Duck and could not get it to take an edge afterwards. Josh took time to answer all of my questions and give me some great advice that allowed me to hone my Duck to shaving shape. If it wasn't for Josh's generousity I'd still be frustrated. Josh is truly a gentleman, and a perfect example of what this forum is all about.

Hip Hip.....
+1 to that.
Josh took time out to look at my hones and offer some advice to me as far as honing and lapping. He also honed my first wapieienca for free, and also honed a W&B and another wapienica just recently. His responses to all of my questions have been detailed and always seemed very thoughtful. He has taken time to help me out numerous times with my problems and always enthusiasticly. the wade and butcher looks awesome. Looks like a great edge. Thanks again!
I would say if you need honing services of any kind look Josh up. I am sure he will help and for a nominal fee as well. Pretty cool guy.Last edited by matt; 07-29-2007 at 07:20 AM.

I have never dealt with Josh directly, but I pay particular attention to all his posts!
He is a person who seems to really care about helping others and is willing to go the extra yard to helping anyone in need. One of the many things I like about this man is his humility! He's not afraid to admit if he has done something wrong. I appreciate the fact that he will try different things, always looking for a better way. These are rare attributes, humility being at the top of the list. This is a trait that separates truely great people from us mortals.
Can you handle all this Josh? Well, you deserve it.
Regards,

Wow, guys, thanks. I'm always glad to help when I can.
I'd be remiss if I didn't take this opportunity to thank AFDavis, mparker762, Bruno, randydance, X-Man, Howard, Joe Chandler, Lynn and a whole bunch of other guys who've been at this a lot longer than me and who have helped me out at every turn. We have a great repository of knowledge and experience at our disposal.
BTW, installing ceramic tile in my heels has been a real bear this weekend.

Thanked: 4Josh certainly seems to cater for newbies, and some not so newbies, by selling a lot of cheaper honed razors.
