    What do you have coming?

When not using my straights or Feather AC, I’ve been loving on my R41 pretty seriously! So much so, I ordered a new head specifically for my travel kit! I don’t travel with my straights anymore. Just too much work for me. So I’ll have two 41’s. One for the house, and one for travel. I’m going to give away every other DE I have. I just love the 41 that much.

Aside from that, I’ve really been hankering on a new soap. Why? I have no idea. I’m set, but the desire was strong. I was going to do Wholly Kaw, then I changed my mind and thought B&M 42... when it dawned on me that I love my one Oleo product so much, why not try Another? So some Oleo chocolate, coffee goodness is on the way. The best part? Because I now always use a splash and then put some balm on afterwards, I don’t have to figure out how to layer a splash with a little balm after, she sells both!

That said, I had to get the Halloween B&M sample for good measure. I mean you understand right? I can’t wait to try it. I’ll save some for using on Halloween. I also got a sample of Acqua di Parma. The sample cost as mush as some whole soaps I’ve gotten! It better blow me away!!

I’ll admit, out of everything this hobby has to offer, the soaps/aftershaves are my weakness. If the Acqua di Parma is gold, i’ll buy it and the aftershave next.

Oh and I got a little red boar brush! The 10049. I don’t know why lol, but the red will look good in the den if all else fails!

All said and done, I needed none of the stuff I bought! Those are the best purchases though aren’t they!

I’ve been meaning to get in on the pre order for Hallows. I just haven’t done it yet. I have to remember that tomorrow. I do have a new Tony Miller premium steerhide strop coming. I’m not a stropaholic but I thought it was time to give another version of my favorite strop a go.

I'm curious to know how the Acqua di Parma performs.
I'm nearly out of the original. It does cost a bomb and you don't get a lot.

It’ll probably be the first thing I try. With all these awesome artesian soaps, I just can’t see how the price is justified short of producing exclusivity - which is fine, I just don’t need to participate in “that” club.

    Wow! Cool.

What is it about AdP though that justifies the at min $60 increase in price I wonder...

Well I’ll say this, when ordering via Maggard, don’t forget to upgrade the shipping. I had originally, but it reset when I had to retype my visa number having somehow put it in incorrectly.

8 day expected shipping!! Good lord! That’s awful lol!
