Thread: Straight Razor Designs Status

I apologize if this is taboo to discuss, but is straight razor designs going out of business? The sale percentage keeps going up and there appears to be very little inventory. Just curious if anyone knows anything. Maybe just a quirk where my phone isn't showing the inventory correctly.

Your phone works just fine, Gator. All signs point to a shuttering of their business since they have not posted increasing sales like this before. They started the discounts back in the spring and seemingly have little inventory of consequence left over as of now.

Plenty of other establishments around to procure most of what they carried, except for their branded strops, etc.

I've been on this forum for a while but don't really know the forum's origin, I always assumed it was originally affiliated with Lynn/ SRD. If that's true even more sad.

Luckily there are many other great vendors out there.

The Forum's origin goes back to the Yahoo groups Site (which still exists by the way) and morphed into the .com site.

Sad to see, bought a number of straight razors from them over the years. Went on the site yesterday with the 70% off and only a few items left.

Suffice it to say many things in life are regrettable. SRD closing is among the more trivial of them.

Yes they are closing down. Got some soaps and aftershaves from them at 40-50% discount.
