Girls and straight razors
I was at a barber supply store recently and the store owner told me that one if his straight razor customers is a surgeon who not only uses straights himself, but he has taught his 19 and 21 year old daughters to use them on their legs since they learned how to shave....damn.
My first reaction was, are they hot?.....and do you have either girls' phone number, 'cause I think I'm in love. Then I thought, hmm, I wonder if my gf would be open to using a straight on her legs (and I of course would teach her, muahaha). She said no way.
Girls using straights might bring new products to the wet shave market. Ex: razors with pink scales, feminine strops and cups, razors for "her" etc....God I'm terrified already. I noticed from the women I've taught to shoot pistols, that they generally are natural shooters, and have a steady hand; I wonder if it would be easier for them to shave their legs with a straight?
Then I started thinking, do we want our women estrogen-izing our manly past time anyway? What would some of you think if you're wives or Gf's started using a straight? Even if a bunch of women started doing it, I doubt that it would catch on. But if it did, just imagine how much longer we would have to wait to use the bathroom if our women started using straights. If they started using our razors, think about how much it would wear down the edges on our carefully honed razors if they used them on their miles and miles of leg hair.
Does anyone have a woman in their life that uses a straight razor? Have any of you tried to get them to switch? Are they hot too? Please feel free to post pics.

There are already some female-targeted shaving products, like Mama Bear's shaving soaps for women, the e-shave pink-handled brush and the SCS shave stick for chicks. I bet finding a mug of bowl with something "feminine" wouldn't be hard, seems a number of older scuttles have floral motifs on them anyway.
Don't think I've ever seen a straight with pink scales though, yet.

I can see it now (from experience)...
All the razors are dull from leg shaving. No need to sharpen them as the hubby will do that anyway.
I had to buy 2 sets of razors and hide one so my wife wouldn't use mine and put it back till I put sharp ones on, than use it again (dulling it)... Drove me nuts.
Now she has all her own cartriges for her M3 and will not go near my straights... as it should be... MINE ALL MINE!!!!

I thought it would be a GREAT idea to get my wife to shave with a DE, a real brush, and shave soap....I love the smoothness from the DE...but now I lose my favorite shaving soaps and I lost a brush! I have had to forbid her from my bathroom! I would NEVER want her using a straight....because she would want to use mine and then things would get ugly...

Funny stuff! I have shaved my girlfriends bikini area for her in the past with the M3. She says I can do it better than she can. I haven't told her howerver, that the next time, I will be using a straight. LOL Can't wait to see the expression on her face. All she needs to know is that I will not do anything to hurt that region of her body. No No No... never! Not about to mess up a good thing!

I tried to get mine to let me do her legs, and all I got was the death-stare
She does well enough with her razor though that it's not a big deal. A good shave for her stays smooth for at least 3 days and doesn't start to get actually fuzzy for about a week-ish. Compare that to my being prickly almost in a day!

While my gal doesn't want to try a straight razor herself (under arms being a bit tricky I should think) I would not be against it at all. I'm secure in my masculinity. I say, bring 'em on!

I would like to get my wife to let me shave her legs, but alas she still says "no dice." Not sure how good of an idea it is anyway, considering that I'm not so sure I would enjoy the idea of her borrowing my straights, brush or soap.
