Thanked: 4827Oh, I see. I thought this was going to be a thread for when we are lazy and get a good growth going on. I thought yesterday would have been the shaggiest I have been for a while. I think I had five days going on, not quite enough to call it a beard. There seem to be a lot of people that just use clippers and maintain that rubby look. The few I have asked about that all do that because they don’t know what products to use to get a comfortable shave. I have to admit, I sported a beard for most of my adult life for exactly the same reason. However all the people you have mentioned can afford to get a decent shave regularly.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 315My wife has said she likes my "beard" about 2-3 days after I shave my face clean. I told her, "this is not a beard, it stubble!"

A well groomed beard can be admired.
As well as long hair on a man.
The key words are well groomed.
Which I find many men lack the ability or desire to do so.
