Thread: Pass around Box

Hi Guys,
I have been making a few razors over the past couple years and have run out of friends and family to give them to, soI thought I might try to sell a few to help defray the cost of my hobby.

I don't know they are good enough to get actual money for, or what style to make so I thought this would be the perfect place to ask. I am making up a pass around box to get some opinions, All I ask is that you post up a review in this thread.

The first 10 guys to pm me with name and address will go on the list, you will receive 3 razors along with alcohol wipes
and ballistol wipes. Use them for a week, box them up and drop in the mail to the next person. Shipping labels will be included in the package, no cost to you.

The razors are made from 01 tool steel and scales are Oregon Myrtle wood, sizes range from 5/8 "sports car"to 8/8 "Mac truck"

So who wants to help me out?

You're missing the point, this post is not about him selling the razors, but a generous offer for people to try his razors for a week and write a review, for free.

No didn’t miss a thing, this is an effort to sell his products, so hence the advice to sign up. Maybe you missed that? You know where he clearly states he needs to sell some to recoup cost?

I'm aware, but he's not selling them in this thread and just asking for people to try his razor for free, as I see he's not a vendor .. yet. Let the mods sort it out then.

I see both sides. I do think a mod ruling is in order.

Didn't realize I was breaking any rules here, my apologies. I went to vendors section and paid the $30.
If there is anything else I need to do would somebody point me the right direction please.

The intent is to sell so this is verboten on the open forum.

If you just wanted to do a pass around that could be done with staff OK.

Yes, from a vendor standpoint you can do it.

Of course the vendor forum is the correct place to do it now that you are a vendor.
