Thanked: 0The London Shops
I finally got some spare time between meetings whilst down in London recently and got round Trumpers, Taylors, D.R. Harris and Trufit and Hill.
Talk about starry eyed... BUT I managed to keep some self control and restrict my spending to £8.50....it took some will power but it was helped by the fact that most items were sans price tag.
Anyone else managed a similar feat of control?!?!

Nope!
What did you actually buy - as 8.5 pounds doesn't buy you much in any of these establishments!

Thanked: 0I did the tour a few weeks ago, more or less as soon as I had a spare day and had moved into London.
The shops are amazing - starry eyed is the word. I was leaving each shop happier and happier.
Spending wise, I didn't do tooo bad. I bought a little something in each shop. I ended the day about £100 lighter.

Thanked: 0Ha ha ha!
I walked into Trumpers repeating the mantra - 'You must only buy soap, you must only buy soap...'
'Can I help you sir?'
'Soap...please'
'What fragrance?'
'Argh! You are leading down the multiple purchase path...Limes please then I really must...leave....'
