Thanked: 0He he Hi Steelforge. The whole time I was in Germany I wanted to say something. My family have lived around here for years, and although I moved away some time ago, its my "home".
Given that I had to leave Germany quite quickly, and I dont really know where I am staying at the moment, Swindon makes sense. What sort of age are you, and how long have you lived round these parts?

Thanked: 0Ho ho I am also 33, but my folks live out the west side of town - mum's in Wootton Bassett, and dads in Broad Hinton. I spent my teenage years in Bassett for my sins.
Same age - its almost certain our paths crossed. I used to work in Route 66 way back when it was the place to be on a weekend, and I was a saturday boy in John Holmes (yes its true) Music. So if you ever drank in there when we were 18/19, or bought something from John Holmes its pretty certain our paths crossed.
I also used to play colts rugby for bassett, and was captain of the school team, so if we played you I apologise for probably stuffing you. Not.

Thanked: 0He he I should have expected this really... John Holmes (yes that really was his name) is a respectable businessman who runs a bit of a music empire in Swindon. I am sure noone ever told him about his name-sake...
A stuffing is a comprehensive victory at sport.
Two countries, same language, ho ho ho.
