Thread: Got busted

The secretary just brought me a package and as soon as she was out the door I whipped out some Flitz and started cleaning the latest acquisition.

In a bit she comes in my office, makes a funny face and asks "Is that YOU???"

Ah, the tell-tale stench of metal polish...Look on the bright side Ivo - at least the people you work with weren't tipped off by the whine of a high speed rotary tool

I used to busted quite regularly on Monday mornings by my students - they'd be sitting in my office discussing some problem with me while I was logged into the flashchat (Sunday night for you guys in the US) - every time someone posted, a little bell sound would go off....

And then there was the time a red rose was delivered to the University store-house... those guys are used to deliveries of scientific equipment, 4WD accessories etc. I definitely had to do some fast talking then. But that's another story...
