Default What company made the "red head" razors

Hey guys, I saw a razor that looked great for sale on another place and it was stamped Red Head on the tang. of course being new it was way outside reasonable for me. But being a red head I liked the name and wondered two things:

    1. which company actually made these (so I can try and track down used)
    2. are they any good (I guess that shoudl have been no. 1)

    Red,

I've never seen one of those. I checked "Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings" and my other references - nada. "Red Brand", "Red Devil", "Red Feather", "Red Imp", "Red Point", but no "Red Head". Sorry. There are a lot of good undocumented razors out there, so that doesn't necessarily means they are junk.

Almost two years back Tony Miller sold a few razors that were marked "Otto Fromm Cutlery" and "50 Red Head".

    yes, they are good!

I donĀ“t know if anybody else than Mr Wacker has ever made Red Head straight razors. Never seen any other myself.
The Wacker Red Head I have in my collection sure is a good piece!

Otto Fromm Cultery Co. Germany. I have one that I must have picked up on ebay a couple of years ago. I haven't been doing much with razors except "shaving" and I don't use this one.
