Thread: Shelf life of a well-stropped razor?

I usually strop up to ten razors at a time, put them back in their boxes and use one a day. They live in a small bathroom used by 4. If kept in their boxes no problem.

Like Alan said. I've had to do it a few times without any problems. That said, I don't make a habit of it.

I have always suspected that this is the reason razors off Ebay, the old vintage kind, require so much honing. When I first started learning to hone it didn't make any sense that anyone could own such a dull razor.

Only tried it once...the result was blood from tugging and bouncing. I do have very thick hair though that has no uniformity in direction...
