Default keeping my shavers in bathroom

I have taken to storing my 5 shavers in the bathroom in a mug. I am the only one who uses the bathroom so it does not see alot of steam. I keep the razors on the counter and wipe them and alcohol them after use. I also keep the door open during a shower and there is hardly any steam build up on the mirror. I like this method as I like being able to see the razors do you think they will rust? I keep them oiled as well.

That all depends on your climate, IE humidity. If you keep them oiled and don't let them sit for LONG periods of time without checking them... You should be ok... maybe...

I keep mine in a simular fassion and I have no rust. It's only been 6 months that I have been at this so I'm still "New" to razors. My carbon kitchen knives don't seem to rust at all and it's been 2 years in this Apt. While thats not the bathroom, the kitchen sees more use and humidity...

Just keep an eye on them...

Yes , I also think your razors will be okay , as long as you're using them and keeping an eye on them .

    Matt,

I think I'd be more worried about that entire mug falling on the floor...

Sorry, couldn't resist. I'm a little punchy this morning...

    Excellent question....

BUT, why keep them ALL in the bathroom? (all eggs, one basket)

In the event there is Rust, they will all be hit. Plus, what if one day you accidentally knock that cup over. Blades a bound! And what are the chances just one of the blades gets damaged.

    Just thinkin'

I keep all of my razors on a shelf in our office, which is a
very low-traffic area and obviously not humid. I live in a
very dry city (Calgary), and I've never had to worry about
    corrosion, which is nice!
