Thread: FlashChat

It may seem a bit self serving of me (as I'm a bit new,) but I really think we all should try and use the flashchat a bit more. as I'm reading and refreshing (while reading other webpages) I am going to try and remember to log into the flashChat I've been wetshaving for a while and can answer questions in that respect. So if you see me online in the forum stop by the chat and say hi... we don't have to talk shaving.

Hope to see you all in there! It's a great resource that in my opinion is under utilized.

Id agree that the system was entirely underused.

Not that its all that big a deal, im more of an IRC user anyway.

The Only time I've seen the chat in action is the Sunday night chat .. ( 01:00am GMT for me ) so it's hard for me to attend all the time .. I do belive there used to be a newbie chat on a Tues or Wed night but I think that stopped ..

This sounds like a good idea I'm going to try this too and see who wanders in!!!!!

While the chat is very handy, keep in mind that it doesn't build a legacy/library of information that's useful to our forum community as a whole. OTOH, the chat builds camaraderie and is a place where we get to know each other on more of a social/conversational level. Both are good! YMMV
