Thanked: 4942Custom Razors
Hi Guys,
As I was putting back some razor reviews today, I realized how lucky we are to have the best custom razor makers right here in SRP with us. Every time I get to see a new razor made by the Maestro, Tim Zowada, Robert Williams or Joe Chandler, I realize that there is absolutely not a more talented group of guys anywhere. Their razors are without question the very best in the world both in artistic value and in shaving ability. My dream would be for every one of you to be able to have one at some time in your life. You would never regret it. I have a new one coming from Joe that I hope gets here this week to join those I have already posted.
For those of you who have works of art from these guys, please continue to post them so that everyone can share in their beauty.
So I hope you will join me in saluting the Maestro, Tim, Robert and Joe and telling them to keep up the fantastic work. You guys are the Best of the Best and thanks for all you add to our community !!!!!!!!
Thank You !!!!!
Lynn

Thanked: 351I could have had a custom, had not Lynn snatched it from my very fingers!
Well, it was an email issue... I was offered a razor from Joe, only to respond somewhat luke warmly about it not being quite what I had envisioned in my mind, only to realize that dang... it's close enough to keep me happy. Alas, the "changed my mind" email didn't make it to Joe for some reason and Lynn snatched that razor and another one. The great news is that Joe is making one for me, exactly the way I want it so it's a happy ending after all.
Now all I have to do is wait.......
Regards
Christian

Thanked: 1Ahhhh... Yes, that does look like quite
a burden. There are plenty of piers here in FL - quite close to me in fact. If you send it to me, I'd be happy to dispose of it for you. I'm sure it would make a nice artificial reef (or an addition to my ever growing rotation).
I'll PM you my address.
No, really... I'm happy to help a fellow SRP member.

Thanked: 0In today's mechanized, automated world, having custom anything is quite special and close to a man. Be it a suit, a pair of shoes, or a razor, I always thought there to be something extremely valuable in knowing that an artisan poured their hard work into something I'm using(or not using I suppose since I don't have a straight ).

Thanked: 0You've got me curious
OK, it might be a bandwidth problem here at my remote site, but as I can't see images in the threads I was wondering if the works of these Master Craftsmen were posted somewhere else on the SRP site, or a link to their site. You've got me very curious,. As my new Avatar is my baby which I'm looking forward to returning Stateside to play, I know it may be out of place for the site, but I don't have a pic of my Bergeshire Lowe with me. It might be interesting for me to look towards returning to a new razor from a Master as well. As always, I thank you guys for this site. Not only did you introduce me to this VERY addictive but enjoyable way to shave, your knowledge sharing has kept my head on my shoulders and my nicks to a minimum.
