What do I need for Valentine's?
OK, my wife and I buy gifts for each other on Valentine's Day. No idea what I am getting her yet, buy that's another issue.
This is about me, ME!
OK, I have 5 razors, 1x 4/8 and 4x 5/8
Lots of soaps, a good brush and a TM practice strop. I also have a Norton 4000/8000.
What would you recommend and a good next purchase for around $100. I started a thread in the razor forum on this as well. But I don't want to buy a razor if there are missing gaps in my equipment.
Thanks guys/gals,

Perhaps something to finish on after honing? If you have a Norton combo, then maybe a yellow coticule from Howard, or perhaps a pasted paddle strop from Tony?
Or you might consider a scuttle for that nice warm lather feeling?
You're lucky, my wife has got to the point where she won't buy shave-related stuff on principle!

Something to finish on is about all it looks like you need. I told mine to get me a dremel for valentines so I can clean mine up

Thanked: 1587You need to tell her that instead of shaving stuff, you'd like to use the money for her present to you on a romantic weekend getaway somewhere, just the two of you.
Of course, it's too late for that now, as everything is completely booked out. After hours of fruitless attempts, you grudgingly give up on the idea and reluctantly accept that this year, yes, just get me that shaving stuff after all.
Not only are you the hero of the hour but you get shaving stuff too.
As I always say, it's the thought that counts on valentines.
