Thanked: 3I love when loot arrives!
SWMBO doesn't quite get it, so I have to revel here...
Today I got the razors from Firebox that I can practice honing, and a little slip that says come pick up your package at the post office. Shipper...Bonnyman Pottery. Tomorrow night I will be shaving with a Moss Scuttle!!! (Well, I don't think I can actually shave my face with pottery, but you know what I mean. ) Ideally I'll simultaneously get to try out this Genco, but I'm just gonna guess the honing practice won't come along quite that quickly.

Moss scuttle
You are going to love your Moss scuttle. Sara's work is beautiful and they work oh so well. I have the small one and a 2234 Vulfix and it is perfect. Warm lather for as many passes as you want to make!!!

Know what I love even more? When you
order so much shaving stuff from so
many different places that you don't remember
what it is exactly you ordered. It's just
like Christmas!

Thanked: 3Okay, found a cable.
My camera is a bit gimp, but it did a much better job on the scuttle than on the razors I've tried so far. The razor is a Henckels that I adore, though I think I need to refresh the edge a bit. The brush is the $6 variety and the soap is TGQ Lavender.

Oh my goodness! That is junk! The color is wrong and poor workmanship! I will make the supreme sacrifice and take it off your hands. Postage paid, even. Just send it to me. I'm here to help...You do believe I'm here to help?

Thanked: 3Thanks guys! I've been very pleased so far. When that second lather arrived and the brush was still toasty warm it actually made me jump a little it was so unexpectedly nice. I think the moss scuttle is ideal for people who like to lather on their face (like I do) and then store the brush in the scuttle. The only problem is that now I want a new brush! My newb brush does the job, but a larger silvertip would fill the inner chamber more completely and stay even warmer. mmmmmm
