    Default French manufacturers marks

Following Tonys posting of steel makers marks, which is a great resource, here is another. I was searching to find out more about a recent purchase - a le Jaguar razor - and found it in this list. Made by Champredon, R - Cognet. Now I know!!

    Default French manufacturers marks

Hey that’s great I didn’t know that there were so many French Manufacturers. I have had over 1,000 razors through my hands & only 2-3 have been French. For me American are more common. I am going to Lille in September for a 3 day Antique fair & the list will come in useful.

All I need now are the German & American lists.

    Default German makers marks

Here is a link that may help with some German marks - I found it a few weeks back when trying to get dates for something else. I find it more fun to research this kind of thing than the research I am supposed to be doing...
