Thread: LOOT!!!!

Today is a great day! Received my Topher newby kit, the "No Cussing" Case blade that was on BST, Highlander and Cavendish Black soaps from TGQ, wood shaving bowl, from TGQ.

The Topher Wostenholm and No Cussing both look great, still waiting for delivery of the Ebony scales for No Cussing. Both will do a wonderful shave on my arm, though neither passes the hanging hair test, but that may just be due to my hair

Either way, since the Wostenholm has scales on it, I'll be stropping it up later and having my first go at a straight shave tonight!!!
.... only real problem is.... which soap to start with I'm thinking the Cavendish as it's been a while since I've gotten to puff away on my pipe, so the scent will make me all warm and fuzzy.

I'm armed with a styptic in case things go awry. Alum block is on its way with the scales and a Victorian Scuttle from classicshaving. Hopefully those will get here soon. Look for a full report, probably tomorrow!
