Default When should I start worrying?

Not sure where to post this. I bought a razor off someone in B/S/T a week ago. They mentioned that as soon as payment went through, they'd ship it. The payment went through fine on the 20th, but that's the last I heard from them.

Since it was Easter weekend, I didn't really worry about it, but I did send them a polite "checking up" private message on Monday. Still no reply though.

How long should I wait before I start worrying that I've lost my money?

You're probably OK. Just be patient. They could be sick, or trapped by snow, or any plethora of reasons.

I know what it's like to send money and not hear back, but try your best to be patient and give them a chance to respond.

I wouldn't worry too much after only a week. I understand your
concern about not getting a reply to the PM. There is a way to
check when they were last on the forum. Maybe they've just
been busy and haven't had time to check in.

Alright. Since the other transactions I've had on B/S/T were so quick, I figured they all would be. I'll give them another week I guess.

Thanks for the tip, John. I checked when they were last on, and it was the 21st, so they never got my PM.

You never know with the U.S mail. I've had M.O's go first class mail and take over 10 days to get across the country and I've waited almost two weeks for priority mail packages to reach me once mailed so I'd be patient for a while.

I was the seller and wanted to get this cleared up. I ended up in the hospital on the 21st, before I had checked on the payment and had this pushed clean out of my mind. I just recently got discharged and got it sent out this morning. I sent a PM to the buyer a little while ago apologizing for the delay and hoping that no harm was done.

Unfortunately these things happen and cause headaches for both the buyer and the seller. Hopefully no one else ends up having the bad luck we were both struck with.

It is a nasty recurring shoulder issue. Unfortunately I participate in high impact sports and activities that recently sent it back over the edge. This time they decided to take the time to get a better diagnosis through better testing and imagery to figure out how to get it fixed. Amazingly, my recovery time was cut from 4 months (the last time it happened) to about ten days of intensive therapy. I will be on life long stretches and exercises to hopefully prevent the problem in the future. I can discuss the specific problem if anyone is interested in that, but its fairly complex and has a lot of gross descriptions to go with it.
