Thread: cool little shop

My dear Doc,

I almost hopped on a plane and headed to Charleston just to visit that delightful shop. Your photos of Good Scents Perfumery are too enticing.

I almost hate to see a shop that warm go online. I think I would rather designate it as the ideal vacation spot for gentlemen shavers.

Sorry to bring an old thread back from the dead, but I just had to share my experience with this gem of a shop. So after poking around on SRP for some time I came across this thread. I visited Good Scents today and was quite impressed; the owner had boxes of Trumper's, Col. Conk, Tabac, Pinaud and Proraso creams and soaps in a variety of scents.

... but perhaps most exciting was when I offhandedly asked if she had any MWF, expecting nothing. She dug around behind a few boxes of GFT soaps and creams and handed me her last box.

The shop itself is very pleasant, it had some Gregorian monk music playing in the background, and the owner was, as previously stated, quite knowledgeable. She told me that she could probably find most soaps, creams, balms, colognes, if I gave her a heads up. I know there are a few folks from around Charleston, they should definitely check this place out, or even if visiting.
