Default Japanese Razor covers....Storage and travel

[This was mentioned in another post (damned if I can find it now), and is something I had been meaning to mention a while back....]

The guard/covers for the Feather razors (non-pivot, or japanese razor style), can also be used to cover the blades of some traditional Japanese razors.

The one I have nicely covers both Tosuke blades I have (see pictures). It's close but the edge is clear of the plastic.

I'm not sure if this will fit all blades, but I thought I'd throw this out there.

I know Telly sells them--but I wonder if they fit the 50mm?

If they do, the cover would make my Tosoke-handled razor the perfect travel razor.

I just measured the razor I used for the photo's........

From the back of the spine to the edge: 20mm
From the tip of the edge to the heel: 47 to 48mm (It falls in between)

    I hope this helps!
