Thread: save a blade?

I was watching TV and saw a commercial for a device called saveablade ( https://www.officialtvwebsite.com/sa...fcode=OTVNoRef). It looks like a small rotating stropper for disposable blades. what a joke!

I admit it. I have one somewhere, purchased at Walgreens awhile back....(I'm the world's worst impulse shopper).
Believe it or not, the thing actually does work, but only on cartridges. It has a little flap of rubber with abrasive that it spins against the blade edge. It's also made kindof cheap, but for times you can't take your straight and cartridges are all you will be able to use for awhile, might be something to consider...some ships, for instance, that might consider a straight to be a "weapon"...
