I always use the TI travel case that holds the paddle strop and one razor when I travel. In this case some type of box sounds great. You might want to look at small-mid size tackle boxes at sporting goods stores that would seal air tight for you too and they have nice compartments. Make sure you bring some Camellia Oil or something like that with you.

    Have fun,

    Default Great minds think alike....

Posting up since I'm in the same "boat".

I like the cigar box idea, but I may still try to fabricate something next weekend.

We are currently coming out with a line of shaving equipment for straight razor travelers that will include roll up cases that will be luggage grade leather, these will be our top of the line 7 day rollups and of course will be priced appropriately. these are what I call antiques grade cases that look great but would be tough enough to haul out on deployment. We will also be producing less expensive models these will hold up to 7 razors with room inside for a barbers hone. I picked up the proto type for our top model yesterday and it far exceeds what I could have envisioned. As each of these are handcrafted we will not take orders but will offer the product as we have it available. I will be posting some pictures of the prototype later today or tomorrow. In the mean time Simon looked this one over yesterday and can give you some idea of the quality. These can have your initials embossed in them and the side of the case can be used as a strop in an emergency. Watch for our posts in the bst.

    Thumbs up Docs Razor Rolls

Ok guys doc has come up with a roll for storage of straights, now I was a little unsure of what to expect until he showed up at my door last night with one...man they are smokin....so I guess this is my little review if you like.

The construction of the roll is amazing, good quality leather with excellent stitching,, tough and durable, brass buckle stiched nicely on to it. The roll itself when full is very stiff and will provide excellent protection.
The inside storage compartments are done very nicely and with soft leather, this is really the only place where a change will need to be made to future rolls, we both felt that the compartments needed to be a little bigger to house all sizes of razors.

All in all Doc has come up with a great product with excellent functionality and exceptional quality, what ever the price tag these will be a worthwhile investment, I for one will be watching with eager anticipation and who knows maybe they will be made to custom order for those of us with a bigger collection...one can never tell.

I hope you guys like them as much as I did,

    regards,simon
