Thread: ATTENTION: Razors needed for the great razor analysis

How much metal do you need? I have a Torrey that is severely rusted to the point where the toe half of the blade is essentially gone but about a third of the heel end is intact. Is that of any use? If not, maybe I'll grind it into a PCR razor!

I'll dig around for a few other busted blades.

Thanks for the offers, guys, but I think I have all I need for this first batch. I'm going to get them sent off in the next day or two. Yeehaw.

OK, I spoke too soon.

As you can see, we have a good representation of the Sheffield makers, which I like.

What I don't have is a good cross section of some other popular brands, especially the Solingen ones.

So... If you have cracked or otherwise trashed blades that are from a well-known maker that isn't represented, send me an e-mail.

I'd particularly like to get some Dubl Ducks, Henckels, maybe a Puma...

I'm hoping to get up to the magic number of 50, which is what I'd originally set out to do.
