Thread: Posting Pictures HELP!

You can start laughing now but I can't figure out how to simply post a picture to a forum as the BST. If someone could give me a step by step that would be great! My pictures are in a koday Easyshare system. Not so easy. Thanks from a dummy!!!

I'm not familiar with your system. usually you just go down to manage attachments and browse your computer and upload. It lists the formats that are compatible. if its not compatible it won't work.

Thanks but I got to that part easily...I think the problem is that because the photos are on the Kodak system, I am not easily able to get to them to upload. Typing in just the file name such as 100_1632.jpg does nt work either. Please anyone with more suuggestions just chime in. I am going to try to take images out of Koday Easyshare and add to mydocuments and see if I can upload that way.

most likely you will need to process your images a little before uploading to this site i use nikon editor and/or photoshop the limits for this site are 700x700 pixels in size and if you 72dpi works pretty nice. for higher resolution photos you need to upload the images to some site like photobucket and then link to the image... good for the bandwidth here but slow page loading for some of our members.

Okay, thanks but that's going into it way too much. I simply want to get 5 strop pictures out of the Kodak gallery they are in and onto this box! Here is what I have so far...I went the image in Kodak, rightclicked Properties and got the rather long location name. Went back to BST, started thread, browsed for the location and BINGO!, uploaded the images. Now that they are in the Manager, what do I do? When I click on one of the lines in current attachments, all that happens is a new window with SRP opens up.

If it tells you that the upload has failed, it's probably because the file is too large
