Since there's no "meh" option I'll just say it here and not vote.
Meh, either way works for me.

Thanked: 43I love BIG detailed pictures.
Too much clicking with those thumbnails if you ask me and am absolutely not a big fan of pop-up windows.
So one BIG vote for HUGE pictures

I would opt for thumbnails that open large pics to be considerate of the dial-up users. If the thumbnail is something they are interested in, then they have the option to wait for just that pic to load.
Trying to load one or two large pictures in a single thread can slow down the oveall page load big-time.
Food for thought.....

Thanked: 22Great thread, I hate the thumbnails, I have to click several times before it loads otherwise I just get that black screen with the small grey thing spinning around.
As for the large pics making you scroll around, could we not get a program that resizes automatically? I am sure I have been to a forum or two that have such a program. If you add a too big of picture it rescales to preset size requirements.
Or option 2: The mods could replace large pics with a small image that says the image posted was too large.
Seen that on many, many forums.

I voted big although thumbs are okay. I have a free account with Photobucket. You can upload your photos and then click on the the img code under the image and it will copy. Then paste in the text box and there is your picture.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

but you see the photobucket and nikon and any other photo hosting site is the problem. large or small the images work if they are uploaded here at srp. Sometimes, whenever use other sites for image hosting you might reorganize your account or even close it and then presto... none of your images are there anymore... that is way more of an annoyance than clicking on a thumbnail to open a picture or not.Be just and fear not.
