Thread: All Members Please Read

The Mods and Admins here will be planning an event. Details will come later however for now we would like to request if you have any items you would like to donate for a give away here please use this thread to tell me about them. if you have pictures of your items even better. Any shaving related items would be great. razors, hones, strops, soaps,etc-you get the idea.

I'll will be glad to donate an Artisan or Paddle strop to the cause. Depending on your plans and what group of users you are targeting I can donate whatever would suit them best...ie, beginner strops, advanced strops, etc....

Either way, you can count on a piece or two from Heirloom Razor Strop as always.

I'm happy to donate one of my Narutaki hones. The one in the picture with the stamps still on it. It's lacquered, but I've never used it so cannot guarantee its grit. Should be at least 6K based on others I've tried.

This is a 11/16 Frameback Fredrick Reynolds, Sheffield Razor I just finished restoring, the finish is "almost" perfect only 2 tiny stains that didn't come completely out..... I was going to re-scale it in Gaboon Ebony, but the wife said she liked it better with the original scales on, so I polished them up and left it all original.....
It of course will be sent out completely shave ready, honed, polished, and stropped, for the winner.....
I will include a small barbers hone that I somehow ended up with, that is lapped and ready to go....
I think the scales are Faux Tortoise but I am not doing a hot pin test on them, if ya win it you can mark up a perfectly good set of scales if ya want !!!!

Guys, I'm just waiting for word from Don how he wants to handle this whether he wants you to send your donations to a central location or wait until the drawing and have you guys send directly to the winners.
