Thread: anyone in SFBay/East Bay?

Posted over on the honing board and no response so i'm posting here.

I'm in CA temporarily, I have my norton 4k/8k with me, but now I'm looking for another member here who lives close and has a lapping stone I might borrow. this norton I have has a problem and sand paper is not the rememdy. I've posted about that before, but lapping it with my DMT works (wife would not bring it with her).

anyone in the SFBay, i'm living in El Cerrito, just north of Berkeley, want a to share some of my beers and let me borrow your stone momentarily?

South bay There is a couple peeps out there but not sure if they are on this or other forums... one is studying for a medical exam and is kind of out of the loop for a while I make trips out to JWW in Alameda not and again, but hang mostly on the lower peninsula

thanks, if you are up this way in the next few months pm me. I posted over on B&B and no luck yet either.
