    Question classified help

I just had a few question about dealing with the Classified section. For starters... what exactly is the difference between CONUS and International. I assume CONUS means Continental U.S. and International, but what does that mean. Like if only International is checked then because I am from Canada I should not select "buy now", and maybe contact the seller... but if it had CONUS checked I could just click "buy now"? Should I still contact the seller before regardless of what box is checked just out of courtesy.

These seem like relatively foolish questions, but I just don't want to step on anyones does.

    thanks
    Alan

    Welcome to SRP, Alan,

This is a good question. Yes I believe the intended meaning is just as you expected, since the majority of our members are from US. Canada would be International, so if it isn't checked you should contact the seller. I have found that international shipping by 1st class is marginally more expensive than within US, but it's a lot more inconvenient since you need to physically go to the post office and fill out a custom form. Within US you can print postage online and just drop it off in any mailbox, or just leave it for the postman to pick the next day.

If International is not checked off you do run the risk that somebody else will purchase the item before the seller gets back to you, but it makes sense that for many sellers dealing with the overhead of international shipping is just too much.

But don't worry - there are always more razors and if you are looking for something specific you can always post a WTB ad and see if anybody may have something.

I moved this to a more appropriate venue, as I'm sure there are others who have had the same question.

Thanks! Questions, comments, please email or PM me.

Adding to what Gugi already stated, another issue is insuring packages..
Even shipping to Canada the added problem of insuring the package is prohibative...
The best option is contacting the seller of course....
