+2 on Hank's request. I've watched David Polan's (Heavydutysg135) vid with appreciation and still can't say that I completely grasp the illusive rolling hone stroke. I think having the skill and knowledge of the rolling hone stroke is akin to having mastered the vulcan neck pinch or some sort of death blow. If you know it, you're worth more in this world that if you didn't. I want to be worth more in this world.

I have two choices and either would be great but I'll soak up any web cast presented.

1) I would like to see different methods of honing of razors that have been kicking around for a while like Antique shops or EBay finds where the bevel needs to be set with smiles, frowns and/or slightly warped blades. No need to address chips in edge if time constraints are an issue, just the different approaches to less than pristine blades.

2) My lady friend is interested in giving me shaves and has done so on several occasions. The issue is that she is very afraid of cutting me. She had done a very nice job with only one nick in the past but has stopped when it cones to my chin due to the curves and tougher hair. A shaving demo shaving one's self and one with getting a shave from someone else would also be great. Special mentions to angel, different strokes, shin stretching and different approaches to difficult areas noting the different methods by area for the different directions hair grows in would also help.

+1 on number 2 request! Im going to give this a go in a month or so (when i feel compitent) To see somone do one with it explained would be fantastic! And i think even people who dont want to learn about this would find it very interesting.

Also id like to get an explanation of Overhoning. Perhaps someone could intentionally over hone a razor, show how you can tell, and then bring it back.

This is going to be a good web cast!

A plethora of fine suggestions with which I can only concur, being as I am such an agreeable chap.

how about not only a sull razor, but one with significant chips or indentions to take out. that is my frustration now on just one razor. small chips, no sweat, i mean some big boys!!!

I agree with the honing topic and also with getting a large chipped edge in good order. I have a Wade and Butcher elite that has a large chip and I am not sure what to do.

Proper use of a strop would be nice also.
