Default B&B deleted membership and all evidence of UK meet !

Just got a message from B&B saying that my membership was terminated because I did not fulfil membership criteria anymore. I went in and checked the UK meet notice that I posted to encourage fellow str8 enthusiasts to come along (09.09.2008). It has been removed too. What is up with these guys? Strange how some people are...

    cheers

    Stephen

Was that the only message you posted?

No - I had been a member for some months and had posted only about 5 times but still... Is there a stipulation that you must post more than one message to meet their requirements? I have asked if this was due to the posting of a UK straight razor event that was not specifically B&B.

    This was the email message:

Unfortunately your registration at Badger & Blade did not meet our membership requirements. Therefore your registration was deleted.

    Sorry,
    Badger & Blade

I can't get in to check what the membership rules are from a members perspective now so can't fathom what the requirement may have been?

I'm not a member of B&B & looking at they way they treat their members will ensure that I will never Join them.
The membership at SRP is friendly, helpful,& in my own experience always willing to help each other . So this is where I wish to be.Paul

Amen, brother! I'm not a member there either and all these posts about deleted memberships and banishment (is this correct?...) keeps me away from that site. SRP is warm and cuddly (in a manly way... ) and the other members are always friends. When we dispute we do it in a friendly way... Plus: in here you can think your own thoughts and speak your own words. That's a very cool thing!

That's sad to see, and I can offer no explanation.

However, let's not make this thread of how B&B treated someone badly, how bad B&B is, how they could do things better etc. ad nauseum. This is the official moderator warning that if this becomes a B&B slamfest, it will be in violation of our "Keep it civil and respectful rules" and I will lock this thread if necessary.

    Thank you for your cooperation.

I read the terms of use and they don't say anything that applies to you. Just weird, I guess.

Point taken Byron - a slag fest is not what I would want either. Serve no purpose whatsoever. I have remained civil across the divide also, I should add. It's a funny old world ...

SE and Carolina Gathering - Badger & Blade

Yep - sent an email but we will see. Maybe it is just some sort of administrative/database error - can't think what else it could be! I rarely visit and am always as nice as ninepence when I do...

It's just a funny feeling getting excluded without relevant communication to tell you why. Hey ho.
