it arrived probably in the morning, but I had to wait until the evening to find it, as I was working all the day at my office... I'll try razor, cream and after shave tomorrow morning... yeah

I shaved this morning with almost all the items contained in my prize: the Simmons, the Bay Rum Soap, the Bay Rum aftershave and the 444 (The Classic Brand lavender will be for another day).
The Simmons is a 9/16 square point; I must say that I was looking quite suspiciously at the razor when I first hold her in my hand: the smallest shave ready blade in my collection (I have a Dovo 4/8 but she needs new scales and sharpening), and very light - I usually shave with 6/8 (and bigger) and heavier blades -; but besides having to go more often to the sink to clean the blade, and to be careful with the pressure, I really enjoyed shaving with her! it is a good blade, and the small blade allows to better see what I am doing (especially around the goatee I am currently "wearing".
I have never tried the Genuine Ogallala Bay Rum soap nor aftershave: the two samples were welcome; I was also very happy to be able to try for the first time the famous 444! I really liked the soap; it has a nice smell and makes a very thick lather - I overdid the aftershave and it was a too strong smelling. Next time I will use directly a mixture of the Bay Rum and the 444 (instead of using first the Bay Rum and then the mixture)... maybe I'll try to use my usual unscented aftershave balm first, and then add the mixture... I have to try to find the good combination for me (btw the 444 scent is very refreshing).
