Thread: Call for volunteers

Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye!

We need 5 volunteers from the audience... 3 regular members of SRP, and 2 newbies (To straight shaving)..

You will be asked to sit on a panel of judges for a contest we are holding at the end of the year, for wiki entries...

Post a volunteer in this thread, if your willing to step up to the plate!!

I started shaving with a straight this summer, do I qualify as a noob?

If so, I'm really curious about this contest

depends on what you mean by noob haha :P and how the judging works, if i dont have to go any where perfect. as for being a noob or not you tell me, ive been shaving with a straight for about a year, though i find i know quite a bit about them and their accessories.

I'm up for it. Ironically, this is my thousandth post. Guess I'm a regular now.

Noon means your still learning, and actively looking for information. No one will have to go anywhere

I am interested...

but I don't know if I can already qualified as a "regular member", or if I still can qualified as a newbie - I am still learning: how to shave, how to strop, how to hone and how to restore, but already practising the whole thing... the only skill I have mastered so far is to spend money for shaving related stuff

I would be more then willing to help... Im certainly a noob and have lots still to learn and from being here the last couple of months have bought a few blades on ebay to try and restore. NOT something I thought I would be doing or trying but after being here and seeing what others have done and how fanatical others are, like me, I have decided to give it a go.

I have also met and delt with some great people here and really enjoy searching and interacting with the members.

If chosen giving a little back would be more then a pleasure.
