Thread: My IKEA ideas for Straight Razors and Shaving Soaps Storage

Hi gents,

Today I went to IKEA and I bought some products that will be useful for me and can be useful for you too.
Since my lates "AD" is "SSAD" (shaving soaps), I had to find some small containers similar to the shaving soap bowls to mill and store all the refills I have been buying and this is what I got:

I also had to rearranje my whole shaving gear. I needed some kind of storage with some small drawers to store my razors and my tubes, creams, brushes, soaps, whatever... This is what I bought:



The top drawer is great to store the razors. The bottom ones are good to store everything else.

i have a similar wooden box with drawers from ikea and its a perfect size for razors and other shaving accessories , ill have to check out the containers too

Are there racks/grooves in the drawers to hold CDs, which would work to hold razors, or are the cupboards and drawers plain?

Hi, they are plain. IKEA says that this is to store CD/DVDs but only because the lower drawers have the proper size. There are no racks inside. Whoever wants to store CD or DVD's must purchase some kind of racks and put it inside the drawers.

Great idea! I'm starting to overflow in my shave den and that drawer setup might be the answer.

I have a display case from Ikea in my bedroom full of shaving stuff. We'll have to do an Ikea thread in show and tell with some pics once you get your new setup situated.
