not a shave but an appearance and i hope it's not been noted before but in the bombing raid in the film Pearl Harbour where the nurses are moving patients away from the windows one of them, i think the Kate Beckinsale character, gets a straight, i suppose a surgical straight, from he cupboard and cuts down the tractioned arms and legs of the patients
let me know if this doesnt count

Just saw a CSI episode where Grissom gets a shave with a straight from his girlfriend, forget her name.
As for movies, I think Jackie Gleason(playing Minnesota Fats) shaves with one in The Hustler during his first match with "Fast" Eddie Felson(Paul Newman).

I'm pretty sure the Spanish commander in Pan's Labyrinth shaves with a straight. Not sure if it has been mentioned because I did not read through this entire thread.
One of my favorite movies also!

Kirk Douglas in "The War Wagon" gets a straight shave from an Asian bar floosy.
Groucho Marx is caught shaving with a str8 in the opening scene in "Horse Feathers". He makes the comment about another professor's speach - "that speach was as dull as the razor I was using".

Woody Allen shaves with a straight in his film Sleeper. It's a pretty funny scene as he mimics the old Marx brothers mirror sketch.

Thanked: 68Saw an old episode of MASH in passing this afternoon. Col. Potter was lathering up for a shave so I thought I'd check what he was up to.
"Shaved" with a straight with about a 80* angle. Since he was already well into the lather when first into shot I'd bet that a blunt razor was just cleaning the lather off an already shaved face.Don't do anything you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics!

No one has mentioned Ride The High Country (my favorite western which happens to be on TCM in an hour!!!)
there are two shaving scenes and a stropping scene
