Being a truckdriver, most of my shaving is on the road somewhere. This wooden coffin is what I use (till I can make or find a better one),the padded satin lining really keeps it safe from all the bumps and vibrations. It locks well and though you cant really tell from the pics, the top is an inset latigo strop (1"x8"). I've tried the toothbrush holders but the vibrations just eat it,or the razor, though for someone not constantly in a moving vehicle,it would work great...jon
btw, the razors a 7/8 (bigger originaly) w&b, great, huge razor, but I wouldn't be out too much if it broke.

I used to travel quite often with a Feather AC. If you're putting something like this in checked baggage, its an important courtesy to clearly label it "Sharp".

If by land I take any of my razors safely cased and my loom strop for stropping on. If by air I would take my shavette and blades in a checked bag. My cary-on would have shaving soap and a disposable razor just in case of unexpected layovers when my checked bag doesn't get to me.
