files on SRP
to admin:
Why dont you transfer the files from yahoo group to files section on this forum? I think it would be nice to have all the help available at one place.

It's in the works gang. I'm trying to do a few things with the files during the migration. Our long-term plan is to have a static area of information files (a permanent archive if you will), and a secondary files section for users to upload/download files.

Thanked: 0I've been surprised a lot of Yahooers are still posting over there. I know that there's a synched link here, but those posts would look much better if they were just originally entered here: the Yahoo posts contain so much extra text and space.....here is just so much cleaner!

Thanked: 4942We have always had a group of folks who liked the Yahoo format. That's why we didn't want to shut it down in favor of another site. By being able to link the two areas, we really are at the cutting edge and can better service the straight razor world as we know it now and as it grows into the future. Ya gots ta loves it!!!! 8)

Thanked: 17WHY I USE BOTH SRP PLACES ....
Although I love using the new SRP.com site, I still use both places .....why, you might ask?
Well, SRP is NOT the only group to which I am subscribed on Yahoo! When I logon to the Yahoo groups section, I have access to SRP, and several other groups I belong to, all on one page! I can jump back and forth, and check messages from my banjo group, health groups, etc, AND SRP - at will!
Naturally, if I am JUST interested in the SRP forums, I go to the website now, and can access the Yahoo forum through the linking. But sometimes I am scanning three or more groups messages in one sitting, and Yahoo provides me the opportunity to do that.
