Ever been startled and cut while shaving?
Yes, when ever my neighbor slams the hood (bonnet) of his 70s Ford Bronco it makes the same sound as the lid of one of those big metal dumpsters (skips) and a few weeks ago while lining up to make an ATG stroke on my throat, BOOM, an inch (25mm) long crease of red wells up right over my jugular.
Had to dissolve half a styptic to make it stop.
