Default Forgive me for I have sinned

Today I ordered myself an electric shaver. A panasonic pro curve. I have not tried one in 15 years so I figured I am going to give it another shot. I figure I may use it once in a while or when I want to shave in the shower or get somewhere in a rush. If it sucks then it has a 60 day money back gurantee. I know I am most likely going to be very dissapointed but I want to see what today's modern shaving technology has to offer.

Please try and refrain from burning me at the stake

    Technically, that's 4 words

Anyway, in a rush I just do a one pass shave with only a couple laps on the strop.
It's not smooth nor enjoyable, but it is done very fast. Nothing but a single edge touches my face. Period.

Last summer I was looking for something to replace the uninspiring process/results of my Mach 3. Fortunately I discovered the enormously rewarding world of straight shaving, and got myself a fantastic new hobby (not to mention a few ADs) in the process. One of my earlier considerations was a Philips Arcitec and I suppose if for some unthinkable reason I was forced to quit straights, it'd be my choice for an electric. It's pretty cool looking (carbon fiber?! lol) and apparently does a passable job (for an electric) on the problem area between the jaw and the neck. That being said, the only thing I can imagine that could make me quit straight shaving would be losing either my mind, or most of my fingers.

    I'd just like to add:

Isn't this a banning offense? Or maybe just a temporary shunning?
