Thread: On my honor, I pledge before these witnesses....

To donate two good quality shaving items to the Giveaway this year. It can be as simple as a tube of CO Bigelow proraso, to as extravagant as a TM strop. Can you make the pledge? It doesn't have to be two items - you can donate from 1 to 100, but please donate. SRP has given all of us so much, so it's time we gave back. Please look through your shave den and pick an item or two that you could part with as an outward expression of your inner gratitude to all that SRP has given you; knowledge, comraderie, Acquisition Disorders, etc.

To my knowledge, SRP has never asked for handouts, never offered special colors to your name or some kind of icon based upon how wide you have opened your wallet. With the wiki, chats, commision free sales forums, message boards, etc, there is so much value.

I don't expect brand new members to pledge anything, but if you look at your post count and it is a triple digit number, then maybe you could be a good candidate!

Given that today is 1/1/09, I felt it appropriate to begin this today. If you feel that you would like to pledge, please do so below!

Well said Ben. Just told Bill this morning that I would try to round up more items to send him this year. The giveaways are a good thing for everyone to participate in both giving and receiving.

I'd like to donate something to the cause this year.Could someone remind us who to pm or where to send the items?

Do you guys realize that it wasn't that long ago that we had the contest for the 5000 th member and now we are up to 8287 members which is ten more than about three hours ago. This couldn't have happened without the fine members we have plus the help of the Mods and Admin plus Lynn Abrams who had the foresight to set up this forum.

And so I pledge. It's about time I gave a little back.
