Puma 85 Original Scales?
I have a vintage Puma 85 I picked up off of ebay that is one of my favorite shavers. I took my time restoring the blade, and am very happy with the resutls. The only visible flaw is that during the polishing in the vibrating polisher, a notch (kinda looks like a barber's notch) developed on the end.
Anyway, I'm wondering if the scales it has on it are the originals. Can someone with a Puma 85 with original scales post a picture of what they look like? I'll post a pic of mine later today after I've shortened the Honey Do list a bit.

I may be wrong but I think that all Pumas have the logo embedded on the scales. If your Puma has that then they are probably the original scales.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Darnit, that's what I was afraid of. Mine does not have the Puma logo on the scales. The scales look pretty cool, but no logo. I can't find my darn camera... maybe the ebay picture is still around...
Edit: Here's the picture from the ebay listing. Needless to say, both the blade and scales look much better now that I've worked on em. At least, *I* like to think so.

That is definitely a rescale job.
