Tulsa Oklahoma
I will be in Tulsa OK for a day. Does anyone know of someone in Tulsa who sells Norton stones? And is there a good place here to get shaving supplies? Thanks all!!!!

Yes, there is a woodcraft on 41st street between Sheridan and Yale in that retail complex next to the movie theater that sells Norton hones and chinese hones. There is also a barber supply up north that sells some cheap aftershaves and soaps, and occasionally other bits, but I have not yet found a good place to get those sorts of things

I vaguely rememeber Ted's Pipe Shop in Utica Square had some brushes and stuff...but it's been so long, I can't be sure.

Tulsa beauty supply has selction of old school aftershaves.
It is kind of a dingy place, but I stop there when going to visit relatives.

Is that the one on admiral that used to be tulsa barber supply? I think it is a sally's now, but it is still dingy if that's the one
[Edit: The one I was thinking of is now called Tulsa Barber and Beauty Equipment. Freebird and I nabbed some Illinois strops down there some time ago]Last edited by hoglahoo; 01-13-2009 at 03:53 AM.

Yes, that is the one that I was thinking of, it has been a while since I have been there.
Last time I was there-there were two ladies with large beau font hairdos. I felt like I was in a David Lynch movie. One of the ladies was pushing her oxygen tank around in a beautician’s cart. It was just dingy flickering light strangeness.
