Thanked: 1903Just for the record, you can now also digg articles in the Wiki if you so wish: http://straightrazorpalace.com/srp-w...tml#post418066.

But no, really, why?
Is it because you want to promote SR shaving, and the techies will come in droves?
I mean, I have a number of hobbies for which I use internet forums, but I don't have any personal interest in promoting them.
I'm sure it would be good for those members of the forum who provide goods or services.
Promotion of a niche hobby to a more mainstream audience is always a double edged sword. Often, new products are created or old ones reproduced because of rising demand. This is good. People can make a living working in the field that is a hobby for others, and the quality of goods and services rises.
Quality of discussion in the forums themselves goes down. The people who have created a place like this or have sought this place out (such as myself) with no outside introduction tend to be the ones truly interested over the longer term and passionate about the subject.
As things become mainstream, those who are truly interested and passionate often get pushed aside by the constant flurry of newbies who won't be around very long. They have terrible etiquette and often demand to be spoonfed information that is easily available and covered repeatedly in things like archives and wikis.
Many senior forum members tire of this and retreat somewhat and become less helpful or end up in flame wars and banned or put on time-out.
I don't exactly want SR shaving to be a small "elite" group. I would like more people to enjoy a great SR shave or the satisfaction of restoration or honing. I do also want the people involved on forums which I frequent to be passionate, polite, and actually knowing the things about which they post.
I find SRP to be one of the best forums I have been a part of, and don't want to see that change. So I would "vote against" digging SRP articles.

Thanked: 1903Well, chaps, it's not looking good. I find it difficult to believe that so few of you actually use digg. The results are appalling: Search Digg for "straight razor".
Just for the record, in order to digg an article, you need to click the digg (or any other social network to which you are subscribed) icon at the bottom of a thread.
The Wiki uses addtoany for the same purpose, see screenshot below.
This is your chance to make SRP more popular, chaps. Do the needful.
