Thread: Bald spot on my leg.

A couple of days ago I did an attempt on honing one of my razors. It was beginning to look sharp, so I decided to give it a try. I didn't want to get bald spots on my underarms, so I figured my tigh would be a good place. (I live in FL)
I did a few leg hair tests and ended up with a 2X4" bald spot right over my knee. THEN I thought about the fact that living in FL shorts is a big part of the wardrobe, so every time I bend my knee so the shorts slide a bit up, there is a bald spot showing. (being a european I prefer my shorts to stop at or slightly over the knee instead of the american style with gigantic, long shorts stopping halfway down the calf)

That's funny, while honing my razor, I test the sharpness on my arm where my watch is. I ran out of hair there so I shaved my left leg below my knee. I too have a bald spot on my leg, and I too live in an environment (So Cal) where shorts are a daily thing.

It sucks, doesn't it.
But it is good to know it is not only me.

Think of it as being like a Masonic handshake. Only "those in the know" will understand it.

I've heard that there's some SRP members running around with BBS arms and some even with BBS legs from all the sharpness testing they do.

ha! BBS no, remember these are the first testing spots, BBS is saved for the last testing spot, the face. and yes i have bald arms and some patches on my legs. but i am in Ontario Canada where we still have piles of snow everywhere, so shorts aren't really an option right now.

Try American style Bermuda shorts, then. With a T-shirt twice your size, anklets and fancy sneakers and sunglasses the size of half your face

Oh, and a baseball cap! Dont forget the baseball cap!

Now that I think of it... I've got some BBS patches on my legs as wel... I thought it would be safe as its too cold for shorts this time of year... But tomorow I have a race which I will run in shorts!!!... That will look pretty weird....

I'll post some pictures if I can find some after the race..(and if its realy bad)
