The companies behind the two oldest soap factories in Portugal will merge. After 100 years in competition, Ach. Brito (the maker of Claus Porto brand products, such as Musgo Real) bought Confiança.
So, what does this means? We'll have one new bigger soap making company that owns several great creams such as Musgo Real, Lavanda and "O Melhor". They say that they're thinking on expanding the business, which will lead to development of new products, who knows maybe a shaving soap. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
