I had a near death experience tonight
Was shaving...again, getting ready to go out for dinner tonight.
I'm sitting their shaving my neck and the girlfriend comes out of nowhere and smacks me on the ass.
She quickly realized that what almost happened and i just said, "please dont do that again"...yikes.
Cut my upper lip right after that because i was a tad juiced....

That gives me chills just thinking about it. Got close to that once with my GF, but I was paranoid and stopped her before she hugged me.

I have two small children that like to watch dad shave and a cat that likes to bite my ankles when I stand in one spot to long.

I've noticed that whenever you hold a razor - to shave, hone it or whatever - people just start drifting in your direction. And it's no use moving to a quieter spot, because suddenly that's where THEY want to go too. You could wear a sandwich board with foot-high letters saying "Hello? I'm handling a deadly sharp tool and don't want people hovering around me!" and some people still wouldn't get the hint.
I shave with the bathroom door locked.

Lock the bathroom door at all times during the shave. Trust me, lock the door if you're able.

+1 on locking the door. I have my own bathroom and its a small one, and I also have a 4 year old who likes to come in and see whats going on. I lock my door for sure.

I have 2 roommates and one of them banged on the door while i was going ATG. i almost had a stroke and slit my throat at the same time
