    i have recently seen a lot people selling ebay stones and most have put name razor stones.i have personally asked couple of them what makes you think it is razor hone and they have answered in different ways (i get this stones with straight razor together and i think it is razor hone.)etc
    what i like to tell please guys before buying stone make sure it is mention for straight razor ask questions before making bids.this will save you a lot money.This is not for stones which has labels already eschr's,coticules etc etc. barber hones.

    Very true, the same thing happened to me last week. An ebay seller stated his stone was a razor hone, the poor beat up thing looked as if it had been used as a door stop, so I asked the seller a question, "How do you know this is a razor hone?", his response was "I dont know." Moral of the story, be careful out there.
