    Default Brick and Mortar Stores

Do any of you have suggestions of where to buy straight razors and supplies in brick and mortar stores? The shipping to my dorm is extremely unreliable and it would also help to be able to smell soaps before I bought them.
Feel free to post about anything related to straight razor shaving. However I especially need shave bowls, or anything that will work as a shave bowl, and badger hair brushes so tips for those would be amazing.

I live in Socal. I know there is an Art of Shaving store around me but I was wondering if there were other stores around too.

The Victorinox store near me carries the Dovo/Merkur line of products. I wouldn't trust anything the staff tells you though.

I don't know of any shops in NYC that carry straights other than AOS and maybe there's a victorinox. That isn't to say they don't exist, I just don't know of them.

Patseur's Pharmacy is in the low 60s on Lex and Cambridge Chemists is a couple blocks north, also on Lex. They both carry a wide selection of soaps, after shaves, colognes, creams, etc. The prices are a little higher than you see on-line, but that's to be expected in a brick and mortar store.

You can find Penhaligon's and CF products at Saks.
