Thanked: 79Just found out a friend of mine's girlfriend is now working diligently to recruit master barbers for AOS across the country, as well as more knowledgeable staff in general, so looks like they are serious about changing the experience some have had there for the better, if it was not so in the first place.

i was in the north dallas AOS shop last week. i will not buy razors or brushes from them. but i also will not buy a new TI or simpson brush either so that is only saying how cheap i am really!!!
i normally get complete idiots who have no clue as to what they are speaking of. last week was different. a true wet shaver, and a str8 razor user to boot. i was impressed that they had someone that actually used their products and shot the bull with him for a while. it was a slow day for him.
he knew of B&B, however not of SRP. i gave him the site and hopefully he pops in. on a side note, if you like pre shave oil, theirs is pretty good.
good luck.

Thanked: 5I can't say anything bad about TAOS. I own the brushed metal razor, and TAOS is replacing it free of charge due to blade and handle issues. I went into the Valley Fair store.
While I wouldn't buy things from them due to price, for customer service, I wouldn't go anywhere else (except Apple...) and one must keep in mind that a premium price guarantees premium manpower.

Thanked: 1I can't say anything bad about them ether. It was through them I got my start in wet shaving. There are a couple of products I'd buy from them but for now there are too many other things I'm trying.
