    Smile A few vegan products

I have bean wanting to start this list for a while, because it was a task to find the good vegan products.

BRUSHES: Men-u premium synthetic is a very nice brush, Omega has a very big selection of synthetics

SOAPS AND CREAMS: Kiss My Face creams, Men-u creams, all Mama Bear soaps, Burt's Bees rum soap, Van Der Hagen

STROPS: Tony Millers strop is the only decent quality vegan strop i could find, but i hear he is a very exelent strop maker!

I would love for anyone who knows any products to post in here for future vegan straight users!

Rocky Mountain Soap Company - 100% Natural Skin Care
I think all of their soaps are vegitable based (no idea what the rules for vegan are)
they only have one shave soap, which I'm loving the older version of, havn't gotten into the bar I just bought yet, and their shampoo is great.

Default etsy - does anyone else have a shop to recommend?

My first soap (vegan) came from etsy, ShopRedLeaf - Black tea. Just search for shaving soap.
I just started looking for my next soap. So if anyone has any suggestions I'm all ears.

I also use Trader Joe's mango honey shave cream, and some glycerin to make uber lather. With and awesome sweat black tea aroma.

I have just ordered the 'Taylor of Old Bond Street' synthetic brush which I was told was supposed to feel more like a silvertip Badger brush than the Men-u ones as they have better water obsorbtion (obviously take almost as long to dry as Badger though) I will let you know how it works out.

I no longer own it, but I did have the Edwin Jagger synthetic brush and it was very nice. The horn handle was of the highest quality. The bristles were soft like badger, but were much more springy. The springiness is the only thing I was not crazy about, but it was a very nice synthetic brush at a reasonable price.

My contribition to this thread is GAIA Made for Men Shave Cream. I know the shave cream is Vegan and I daresay it's other products would mostly be the same anyway.

I hate to necro a post, but I feel this thread could do wonders for those who are looking for animal based alternatives to shaving.

I have run across some soaps and other men care from jackblack. They have many vegan options for shaving, after shave, creams, soaps, skin and hair care. Just make sure you read to see which ones are. The vegan ones are labeled accordingly.

You might also take a look at vegan essentials shaving selection. There's many brands.

There's also a men shaving section that carries quite a few brands as well. Quite a bit of it can be found at your local healthfood store or really most places you buy shaving stuff. Whole foods carries quite a bit of them too.

Taylor of Old Bond Street does not use any animal products in their shaving line. The stearic acid is vegetable based.

The Edwin Jagger Synthetic Brush works great! However it feels like it gets cold faster compared to my experience with badger brushes.

The vegan leather heirloom razor strop from The Well Shaved Gentleman is top notch and well worth it.
